2nd International Documentary and Short Film Festival Kabul! 

2nd International Documentary and Short Film Festival Kabul ended on 21 of June 2007 in Kabul Capital city of Afghanistan.
Kabul Film festival was held by Goethe Institute and French Culture center In Afghanistan with cooperation of some forging and nation organization, Afghan film, Afghanistan Cinema Union. Educational University of Kabul and Tolo TV.
This festival organized by Malek shafi'I the head of CACA Kabul and, during the six days screened about 41 documentary and short films from three neighbor and two Europe countries  at French culture center auditorium and Educational university hall in Kabul and more than three thousand people has watched and participated in the festival's programs.
Parallel to the screening the festival arranged useful seminars about situation of cinema in neighbor countries plus French and German.

an international jury comate judged the competition films and gets Award and prizes for flowing films:

Grand Prize (Cash, total 10,000$):

1. Best Fiction Film > Shelter directed by Mr. Mohsen Hosaini.
2. Best non fiction film> Gozargah Directed by Mr. Abdulhosain Danesh
3. Best forging film> New Penelope directed by Mr. Georgiy Dzalaev from Tajikistan.
4. Best audience film> Golchehreh directed by Mr. Abdularashid Azimi (Selected by TOLO TV)
5. Best films with Human themes> Shelter and Gozargah (selected by Human Right Independent Commission of Afghanistan)
