- • DROUGHT IN HAZARAJAT is a documentary film about the excessive droughts situations in central regions of Afghanistan, this film which has been made by CACA-Kabul has won the golden board as a memorial from Kish international film festival in Iran, also this film has been invited by international film festival FICC ( Federazione Italiana dei Circoli Del Cinema ) that will be serenading the main programs of this festival, Malek Shafi'i is the director of Drought in Hazarajat and Mohammad Haidari is the Cameraman. It should be reminded that this film has been shown as the only Afghan film in tow mentioned festivals or in some how represents Afghanistan cinema.
- • From 14 to 22 April a film festival named “ Afghanistan film festival ” took place in Köln city of Germany this is the first film festival which is allocated for Afghan films that is held out side of Afghanistan. From CACA-Kabul tow documentary films have been screened in this festival, the film of “End of the Land” which is about the situations of refugees in European countries and has been shot simultaneously with 11the Sep of 2001 in the main program of the festival and the film of “Pamir Territory” in its sob-Program.
- • The center of Art and Culture of Afghanistan during 16 days from 1 of may to 16 of May under took the responsibility of organizing a group of Polish film makers. This group wanted to make a documentary film with coordination of Afghanistan ministry of foreign affairs and Afghanistan human rights independent commission about the murder of a woman in Badakhshan province and they also traveled to this remote aria. The CACA-Kabul provided them transportation facilities, camera tools, soundman, interpreter and fixer. The mentioned group supported by Eureka Media from Poland, and in addition this group intend to organize a tow months course of documentary making for 12 students of Kabul Art School.
