- Pamir Territory appreciated warmly by the audiences
On Wednesday 12th Jan 2005 the documentary film of "Pamir Territory was showed in Afghan film 's theater salon which was attended by many representatives of both foreign and domestic institutes, cultural director of UNISCO in Kabul , Journalists and a lot of group of Afghan artists and Film makers .Then the ceremony began with speech of the Afghan Film administrator, Mr. Engineer Latif. be after a short introduction of the director , at the mean time hoped that Afghanistan cinema should offers more film makers in field of documentary making and Malek Shafi'i 's shouldn’t be the only documentaries in Afghanistan .soon after that the film was showed and its time was thirty minutes. After it finished as the audiences admired the director and film staff, they also expressed that this is the only documentary film about the people, customs and traditions of pamir which is in the farthest region of Afghanistan. Than Sedigh Barmak the director of Osama movie, after his appreciations from the film, remarked that Malek Shafi'i is the only documentary filmmaker in Afghanistan. He adds that the director could bring the life of Pamir people from its various aspects in a very good method in this film. Finally, the director of the film with thanks to the participations stated his movie and aims of making this film and told some of hid problems and barriers during making the film. Such as shortage of budget, facilities and enough time. He also added he could make better documentary films, if he had better facilities and good producer.
